About Chulalongkorn University Alumni Association, Mid-Atlantic, Inc.
(CUAA - MA)

We are a group of Chulalongkorn University alumni in Washington, DC, Maryland, and
Virginia that come together to show the "Chula Spirits" and to give back to the university that
has given so many opportunities to all of us.

Some of us reside in the area permanently, some work here temporarily, and some are still
pursuing their post graduate degree. No matter why we are here, we all came from the same
place, Chulalongkorn University.

Association  Mid-Atlantic (CUAAMA)

A.  For the education of the general public as to Thai culture; to provide scholarships and
financial assistance to selected student applicants; to provide financial assistance to
Chulalongkorn University Alumni Association members as appropriate; to promote the
prestige of Chulalongkorn University and its members who have undertaken honorable
deeds; and to foster and facilitate communications between alumni of Chulalongkorn
University concerning the University’s various program.

B. The Corporation is further authorized to have and exercise any and all powers or
privileges now or hereafter conferred by the Maryland General Corporation Law.

C. The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and
scientific purposes, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations
that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
of 1986 (hereinafter the “Code”), or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
