To commemorate the Piyamaharaj Day, Chulalongkorn University Alumni Association, Mid-Atlantic organized Chula Night. It was a fund raising effort for Chulalongkorn University Rural Funds (Chula Chonnabote), providing scholarships to high school students in the rural area of Thailand to attend Chulalongkorn University. Chula Night, on Sunday, October 14, 2007 For those of you who left before the end of our program, please note that Dr. Suwat Silpasuwan was the winner of the 50-50 ruffle draw. He donated all the prize money of $240 to our CUAAMA for the Chula-Chonnabot project. Thank you for his generous donation.
